Cadet Program

Introduction: The Army Cadet Movement has been developed to promote leadership, citizenship and physical fitness for youth from the ages of 12-18 years old. The free program includes uniforms, training, weekend camping trips, excursions during the year as part of the training plan, and free summer provincial, national and international courses.

When and Where: Cadet Corp, the 2964 Walden Irish Army Cadets, meets from September to June each year on Wednesday nights, from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. 1955 Regional Road 55, Naughton, ON.

Sponsorship: 2964 RCACC is proudly sponsored by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 564. They provide equipment for the cadets of this fine youth organization. They also offer some funding every year. The Cadets directly support the Legion in raising funds to support Veterans and other activities sponsored by RCL Branch 564.

Affiliated Unit: Every Army Cadet Corps nationwide is affiliated with a military unit. 2964 RCACC is proud to be affiliated with one of Canada's oldest and most prestigious Infantry Reserve Units, The 2nd Battalion, Irish Regiment of Canada.

How do I join? If you are from the age of 12-18 years old, you can attend 1955 Regional Road 55, Naughton, ON, on Wednesday nights between September and June with a parent or guardian to view the training and ask questions.
